Our Story

How Jowocare came to be

Jowocare Ltd was founded by registered social workers who spent years working within the system — making referrals, fighting for placements, and advocating for clients who deserved better. We built the kind of service we wished existed.

The result is Jowocare: a London-based supported living provider that puts the person at the centre. We are not a large corporate provider. We are a small, values-driven organisation where every placement is overseen by people who have sat on both sides of the table. We know what local authorities need. We know what social workers are looking for. And we know, from experience, what makes the difference for the people we support.

Jowocare is registered and operates in line with Care Act 2014 principles. Our tenancy and support agreements are legally distinct, our Housing Benefit arrangements comply fully with DWP guidance, and our pre-assessment process is designed to ensure we only take placements we can genuinely support well.

All practitioners are SWE-registered. Jowocare operates under a named Registered Manager with full governance oversight, ensuring consistent standards across every service we deliver.
